Following information will help you to prepare an effective resume:

  • Your CV informative but concise, accurate in content, spelling and grammar.
  • Brief Personal Profile: name , address, contact details should be neatly presented, with date of birth, nationality and marital status
  • Education: Briefly list your school /college qualifications, diploma and university degree giving dates, location and exam results. Again start with your highest level or most recent training first, then go backwards through your education.
  • Career history, starting with your most recent job first. State the company name, job title and the period you worked there. Begin by listing your duties and responsibilities .  Be specific and detail only what is relevant to the new position . List any industry training and qualifications you gained while in that employment
  • Interests: Mention genuine interests and have relevant information on the same , (Eg. Reading : The recent books  you  read , kind of  books  you  like  / sport :cricket , knowledge about the game , matches , cricketers  )
  • References, ideally two and preferably including a recent employer
  • Print your CV on good quality paper. When sending CVs via email, it’s important to include  as a attachment rather than in the body of the email.
  • Be honest and never give inaccurate or misleading information.
